Norfolk Group announces new Corporate Chef – Richard Genn
Norfolk Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Genn as Corporate Chef of Norfolk Group. In Genn’s new role, he will be in charge of development and operation for Food & Beverage direction at Six Senses Con Dao and Corso Steakhouse & Bar, Norfolk Hotel.
Chef Genn delivers his 25 years of extensive international experience in luxury hotels and resorts via destinations as diverse as Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and India to the Middle East & Mediterranean in Turkey and Jordan. For over 14 years, he devoted his culinary passion at Aman Resort International serving as the Corporate Chef at Large conducting highlighted significant events as the opening of AmanKora’s five locations in Kingdom of Bhutan and Aman I Khas in the Ranthambore National Park in India. With his prestige, Chef Genn has been famously requested and chosen to tailor exquisite menus by VIP guests and celebrities including Prince Andrew and Katy Perry while staying with Aman in China. Looking back to the beginning of his journey, he started the voyage as Sous Chef at Tetsuya Restaurant – one of the Top 10 restaurants in Australia offering unique fusion cuisine of French & Japanese. This then led to Amandari Resort in Bali as the Executive Chef for 6 years with the privilege of catering for the wedding of Mick Jagger & Jerry Hall.
Chef Genn brings his culinary odyssey to Norfolk Group with state of the art sophisticated fine dining experience specialising in contemporary spa and wellness cuisine design. His culinary roots being from the City and Guilds of London and professional certificates from Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
