Mission of Marcom Manager

Responsible in achieving the Brand and Hotel positioning objectives locally and internationally through Public Relations and Promotion activities. Assist the Director of Sales& Marketing in the development of Public Relations and Promotion plans and in budget preparation. Represent and promote the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the media, local community, the customer base, and Norfolk Group offices. Supervise the Marketing Department to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely fashion. To protect the correct image and positioning of the hotels and Brand by meeting corporate standards in all collateral and advertising material. To develop and follow through in public relations activities and be responsible for the production of promotional materials, press kits and arrange press and media coverage.

– Reporting to: Group Director of Sales & Marketing.

 

– Responsible for: Marcom Executives, Graphic Designers, Digital Marketing Executives.

Main Responsibilities

– Propose and prepare marketing concepts, reports (as required for individual projects) to meet the market trends and the company requirements.

 

– Develop, plan, implement and execute concepts on new promotional activities in order to

increase customer awareness of the Norfolk Group functions, services and products.

 

– Help update the mailing Database direct mail with Sales & Marketing Department of the properties.

 

– Develop/propose new concepts in Food & Beverage, brand awareness, property positioning and other revenue generating activities of all the Norfolk Group’ properties.

 

– Continuously develop the Norfolk Group keep current with competitive in target market forces.

 

– Help improve processes for working projects by eliminating wastage, time saving measures for logical, functional supply chain for internal and external customers.

 

– Meet guests and media representatives when necessary to maintain relationships with in order to understand needs, wants to facilitate improvement the hotel/ resort/office building/serviced apartments operations.

 

– Develop concepts, strategies and print collateral for functions/events on premises at Norfolk Group’s properties.

 

– Attend major events in the City to network and to create customer awareness of the Norfolk Group.

 

– Attend in-house meetings relevant to the Marketing operations as required by Management.

 

– Develop and create Public Relations tools for Norfolk properties.

 

– Write articles as required for individual projects to encourage media promotions for

properties.

 

– Gradually implement and define unique look and feel for individual brands visually, via brand equity education, and introduce a total branded, marketing experience with properties.

 

– Train Marketing Executives, Graphic Designer in marketing and corporate communication concepts to benefit staff to encourage self initiated work personally and professionally.

 

– Perform other duties assigned from time to time by Group Director of Sales & Marketing/CEO.
